Updated measures for population health as well as wellness are just some of the updates in the soon-to-be-released 2015 Population Health Alliance Outcomes Guidelines Report. The Outcomes Guidelines Report, released annually from 2005 until 2010, is considered the “official playbook” of population health program measurement. The Report is the only report of its kind offering consensus based guidelines for measuring population health programs and is often used as the basis for many program evaluations throughout the industry. The forthcoming edition will be released at the 16th Annual Population Health Forum, November 2-4 as a complimentary publication for participants.

“This document is unique in that over 60 leading organizations came together to develop consensus based guidelines around methodology and measurement in population health programs,” explains Karen Moseley, Director of Research for the Population Health Alliance.

“So much has changed in population health in the last five years—the industry continues to work together to develop methods and measures that will truly assess program impact. We know this newest edition will build off of the great work that was started a decade ago and offer insight into measurement and methodology for all population health providers across the continuum”.
